Keep raw materials in the supply chain. Designer Daria Biryukova experimented with Bottom ash material from Van Gansewinkel. Come to visit exhibition at Yksi Expo during DDW 2016.
Bottom ash from the combustion of residual waste may possibly be used in the production of ceramics. That would be a step in the sustainable production of ceramics. That evidence from experiments Daria Biryukova, in collaboration with Mosa and Van Gansewinkel. She is a Russian designer who lives and works in the Netherlands. She shows her project during the Dutch Design Week 22-30 October at the Yksi Expo.
Mosa, a manufacturer of ceramic tiles, is constantly seeking ways to make processes more sustainable and has been Cradle to Cradle certification for its products. The analysis examines the purity of raw materials, recycling, energy, water management and social conditions.
Some weeks ago I was contact by VIDA and asked to participate as an artist and make out of my artwork some fashion items. I'd love to share it with you =)
